Improving the health of prostitutes

prostitute-202

Encouraging clients to engage in sexual activity with prostitutes who have sex with multiple strangers every day is not a viable solution.

If the goal is to improve the health of prostitutes, which includes preventing sexually transmitted infections (STIs), encouraging clients to engage in sexual activity with prostitutes who have sex with multiple strangers every day is not a viable solution.

Prostitutes engage in sexual activity with clients who may carry STIs, whether knowingly or unknowingly. While some STIs can be effectively prevented with the use of condoms, others cannot. The risk of contracting an STI increases with the number of clients a prostitute has, as they are selling their body and dignity for money.
